Beeway is the story of Michel Lecomte and his 25 years of experience in motor racing.
From the 1980s through to 2010, Michel Lecomte and his teams won international titles in single-seaters (World Series by Renault / Robert Kubica and endurance: Le Mans Series 2006 / Barazi - Vergers/Courage).
After 12 participations in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the construction of an LMP1 (Le Mans Prototype category), Michel Lecomte wishes to put his know-how at the service of the general public by developing clean yet high-performance vehicles.
Beeway is the story of an entrepreneur who acts with passion, strength and conviction to move forward the automotive world. The spirit of competition as a commitment to performance, quality, responsiveness, collective achievement and fun!
In 2011, through his company Beta Epsilon, he created the Bee-Bee, a small electric leisure car with a vintage look that has been a great success in the West Indies.
10 years later, he wants to go even further by moving from leisure vehicles to commercial vehicles, where the need for performance is sorely lacking in the face of the urgent need to adopt non-polluting vehicles. In April 2021, Beeway, a manufacturer of electric and hydrogen-powered commercial vehicles, was born.
Beeway is now a team of 30 passionate experts with varied backgrounds (automotive designers, technicians, logisticians, buyers, sales representatives, etc.) working to create the mobility of tomorrow. Mobility that is in line with environmental considerations, but also a source of employment in France and in line with the needs of users.
Beeway is also a company based in Le Mans, capital of automotive and innovation industries, which gives it access to a pool of local expert partners.
Today, respect for the environment must go hand in hand with performance and durability. This means a vehicle that's adapted to its user, modular, and designed to last for many years.
