Making France a leader in renewable hydrogen is the national ambition supported by the government initiative: "Stratégie nationale pour le développement de l'hydrogène décarboné" (National strategy for the development of low-carbon hydrogen). The aim is to create a French high-capacity electrolysis industry, develop heavy-duty hydrogen mobility produced without carbon, and support research, innovation and skills development.
A day hosted by Laurent Meillaud, automotive journalist
Against this backdrop, the Centre-Val de Loire region has been organizing "Hydrogène au Centre" meetings since 2018. The first, held in Tours in May 2018, focused on " From an ecosystem of projects to structuring the regional hydrogen industry". The second, in Châteauroux in September 2021, focused on "The future of hydrogen in Centre-Val de Loire". The third of these meetings will assess the role already played and to be played by our region in this national perspective on hydrogen.
